Pamela Anderson at the KFC outlet at Southport, Queensland, Australia to hand deliver a signed letter of protest about the treatment of chickens by the KFC food chain on behalf of PETA.
Michael Jackson left his house in a wheelchair to go shopping with his children – Prince, 11, Paris, 10, and six-year-old Blanket as a minder pushed the star in the chair yesterday.
Michael wore pj bottoms for the outing, but covered his face in a mask,
sunglasses, black towel and baseball cap.
“The skin on his hands was peeling, almost like a snake’s. He kept his mask on all the time. His security man was at his side and nobody approached him. It is really sad.”
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson is set to collaborate with New Kids On The Block.
The reformed boy band’s singer, Donny Wahlberg, revealed the plan as the
group – who announced they were reuniting earlier this year - celebrated the
launch of their comeback tour, which starts in September.
Donny said: “It’s very exciting. It’s one big party and everyone wants to
join us.”
The band held secret talks with Michael, 49, at his Nevada home last week.
They are the latest in a string of artists – including Kanye West,
will.i.am, Ne-Yo and Akon - rumored to be working with him as he attempts
to revive his career following his acquittal of child abuse charges three
years ago.
The ‘Bad’ singer was due to release his hotly anticipated new album later
this year, but no release date has been announced yet.
A source said: “He has been in the studio for months. He wants to create an
amazing album and won’t release anything until he is totally satisfied.”
Alex Rodriguez allegedly confessed his love for Madonna at the beginning of
this year.
The New York Yankees baseball star – whose close relationship with the
singer is a factor in his recent split from wife Cynthia, her lawyers claim
– told a pal he was besotted with Madonna as they had dinner at a restaurant
in January, during which Alex spent most of the evening texting her.
His friend told Us Weekly magazine: “He kept smiling, acting as if he was a
little kid. He told me it was Madonna he was texting. I was shocked. He
proceeded to say he was in love with her. I thought he was kidding but he
wasn’t.”
Just a few weeks after the dinner, Alex – who has two children with
estranged wife Cynthia – confirmed how much he had fallen for Madonna,
telling the same friend: “She’s my f***ing soulmate.”
Madonna – whose own marriage to director Guy Ritchie is allegedly on the
brink of collapse - has previously denied any involvement with the
sportsman, insisting they are just friends.
She was also furious her alleged relationship with Alex had been labeled an
"affair of the heart" by a lawyer for his wife.
A source involved with the divorce said: "Madonna is outraged. She told his
wife Cynthia's lawyers not to make any more statements about her - in short,
shut up."
Cynthia's legal team served her spouse with divorce papers earlier this
week.
Despite not being named in the documents, Cynthia's lawyers are still
attributing some of the blame for the break-up to Madonna.
One of Cynthia's legal representatives, Earle Lilly, said of Madonna and
Alex: "The correct analysis is a relationship. Some people categorize an
affair as sexual infidelity. We're not claiming that - it's an affair of the
heart."
Madonna’s spokeswoman yet again played down reports the singer and Guy – who
raise three children together – were set to split.
Madonna and Britney Spears are set to perform a bondage routine together.
The pop superstars - who caused controversy when they shared a kiss at the
MTV Music Awards in 2003 - will appear in bandages which they will remove to
reveal tiny bondage pants and knee-high boots.
The footage, which will include the pair gyrating against each other, will
be screened to fans on Madonna's 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour via 20ft
screens.
A source said: "It is classic Madonna, probably the raunchiest stuff she has
ever done. It leaves nothing to the imagination and it will be very
controversial.
"Britney and Madonna are unwrapped like mummies to appear together almost
naked apart from tiny leather bondage pants and knee-high boots. They then
dance closely together, pressing their hands and bodies together.
"There will be big rows over whether it is sexy, shocking or both."
The pair will perform a mix of Madonna's track 'Beat Goes On' and Britney's
'Piece of Me'. Britney will also dance to Madonna's 1995 hit 'Human Nature',
which will include one scene where she loses her mind after getting stuck in
a lift.
The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "We'll see her going crazy
in an enclosed space - screaming, pulling her hair and banging her fists
against the lift's walls as it gets stuck between floors. She really loses
it."
The actor - who reprises his role as the Caped Crusader in new movie 'The
Dark Knight' - was desperate to keep the entire Batsuit, but only has room
for the famous headgear.
He said: "I kept the mask. I would love to keep the whole costume but I
don't have room for the whole thing!"
Christian recently revealed he nearly turned down the role of the superhero
because he felt the suit was too "claustrophobic".
He said: "I was standing on the back lot where they were creating the suit,
and I had a few minutes to myself, staring up close in the mirror, just
thinking, 'This isn't going to work. I'm claustrophobic, I can't breathe,
I'm getting a headache already, and this is all going to go very badly.'
"I just said to myself, 'Breathe deeply for a few minutes. Try this out.
Don't run around yelling and making an a** of yourself trying to pull the
whole thing off. I just had flashes of saying, 'Well, I wasn't able to play
that character, because I panicked every time I got in the suit.' "
