Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson may be headed into professional wrestling after Ortiz closes out his UFC contract this Saturday night at UFC 84. The controversial Huntington Beach Bad Boy and his girlfriend, the world's most famous retired porn star, have lots of offers on the table as Ortiz enters a new phase of his career after his fight with the undefeated Lyoto Machida.
Some feel Ortiz will sign with Mark Cuban, who has been putting together an MMA consortium, with his HDNet and HDNet Fights. Others feel Ortiz may join EliteXC, which has a deal to air in primetime on CBS Network and whose lone star, Kimbo Slice, is one defeat away from losing his luster.
Ortiz, of course, has the added value of his constant companion, whose Times Square billboards and penchant for controversy keep her in the public eye. Former ECW owner Paul Heyman, who was Head Writer for World Wrestling Entertainment's Smackdown and ECW-on-Sci-Fi shows may have provided a clue into Tito's future. In a recent blog for the SUN (UK), which airs Heyman's broadband video series "The Heyman Hustle," the former sports entertainment power broker listed his Top 5 Most Underutilized Talents in Professional Wrestling. Coming in at number 5, surprisingly, was not a wrestler or person presently in the grappling game: Tito Ortiz. Heyman's entire blog can be read here:

Heyman wrote, "Tito is finishing up his UFC contract this weekend. What does he do next? Wear out his name in MMA, or capitalize on his love for pro wrestling and exploit his larger than life personality by joining WWE or TNA? And remember, where Tito goes, so goes Jenna Jameson, the best self-promoter in show business today. Forget these short term deals with Pac Man Jones and Floyd Mayweather. Tito and Jenna can be long term stars who command attention, and they can bring that attention to whatever wrestling promotion is smart enough to TAP into their controversial relationship."
Ortiz, who briefly negotiated with WWE a few years back, and who appeared for TNA Wrestling as a special referee as well, has not committed to his future plans yet. He is represented by the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles and has several projects lined up based on his impressive showing on The Celebrity Apprentice. Will Tito and Jenna make the jump from UFC and Porn to World Wrestling Entertainment or the rival TNA Wrestling?
