CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR THE WEEKND X FORTNITE FESTIVAL

Epic Games has shared the sensational trailer for its partnership with The Weeknd, as the world eagerly awaits the December 9th launch for its Fortnite Festival event. Serving as the first artist of the new music-based experience within the game, The Weeknd-themed additions will join the new items, weapons, vehicles, and more found in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

And it only gets better!

Teaming up with Rock Band developer studio Harmonix, Fortnite will be offering a game mode where players hit notes in time to a song while watching an artist on screen. Players will have the option of performing in a band with their friends or playing solo onstage.

Multiple reports (ok, they’re “leaks” but we’re not encouraging them. Well, unless they’re exclusive to the Hustle), reveal The Weeknd x Fortnite Festival will feature a new microphone design, two new bass designs, three songs, a keytar design, “Boombox” Aura, a loading screen, and The Weeknd skin accessed through a paid Festival Pass.

All this and more, as we count down the moments until December 9th!
