2023 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble Winner Cody Rhodes came out to the ring in Orlando, Florida to talk about WWE’s Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and the fact Reigns may actually lose the championships to Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber before Cody’s guaranteed (by virtue of his victory at the Rumble) championship match at WrestleMania.
There is a common bond Cody Rhodes and our boss, the wise man to the Bloodline, Roman Reigns’ #Special Counsel Paul Heyman. And that common bond is Cody’s father, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. On this night in Orlando, Paul Heyman and Cody Rhodes would invoke the memory of Dusty Rhodes; they would make each other cry with deeply personal memories of Dusty Rhodes; they would bring the WWE audience to tears (and cheers) with their emotional, personal affection for each other’s relationship(s) with Dusty Rhodes.
