Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes teamed with Randy Orton to face Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed of The Vision, but interference from World Heavyweight Champion Seth Freakin’ Rollins turned the tide when he delivered a Curb Stomp to Orton, allowing Reed to secure the victory with a Tsunami. After the match, Rollins intervened to claim his rival for their upcoming WWE Crown Jewel showdown, but despite The Oracle, Paul Heyman‘s warning that Rhodes was getting into his head, Rollins’ attempt to stomp Rhodes backfired when the American Nightmare countered with a devastating Cross Rhodes, leaving Rollins laid out.
