WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler kicked off their historic title reign on WWE Monday Night RAW with an impromptu defense of their titles against the NXT duo of Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, who were making their (surprise) RAW debut. The newcomers showcased their skills and had momentum on their side, utilizing their tandem offense known as The After Party to pose a significant threat to Rousey, but the party-crashing Baszler came to the rescue just in time, preventing her partner from suffering a humiliating defeat. Regaining their composure, the champions went back to their fundamental strengths, with Baszler displaying her technical supremacy by locking in a Kirifuda Clutch, forcing Carter to submit.
