Final Fantasy 14 just revealed its fifth expansion track, Dawntrail, and the story takes players across the sea to a brand-new adventure.
During the keynote address for the first in-person Fan Festival in four years, Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida gave players a preview for this new expansion, including the new graphics update. This original chapter is being considered a fresh start for the Final Fantasy 14 main scenario after the epic conclusion of Endwalker.
Dawntrail brings Final Fantasy 14 players to Tural, the continent far to the west of Eorzea that up until now has only been known as the New World. This mysterious land promises high adventure and discovery as they explore fantastical places like Tuliyollal aka the City of Gold.
Dawntrail is currently planned to release in summer of 2024, and players can expect to see more information about Dawntrail at Final Fantasy 14’s next Fan Festival in London on October 21 and 22.
Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
