Sylvester Stallone’s Military Action Adventure May Be Invading Television!
Deadline has broken a story that Sylvester Stallone will be Executive Producing a TV event based on his film series “The Expendables” … multiple sources have confirmed the report, which states Fox is the destination for the military action adventure. Stallone, who stars as Barney Ross in the film trilogy co-wrote the movies is wrapping up filming of the sixth “Rocky” movie, entitled “Creed” in Philadelphia. Greg Coolidge and Kirk Ward are to write the script alongside showrunner Shane Brennan as the films’ producer Avi Lerner will join Stallone as another EP on the project. Multiple sources the concept will be similar to the film series, in which action stars of (television?) days gone by will be cast as heroes facing what could be their last great mission.
