The hype is on for UFC 200, and the Light Heavyweight Championship is taking center stage as Jon “Bones” Jones and Daniel Cormier sat down with Joe Rogan to discuss their rematch this coming Saturday, July 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The animosity between these two world class athletes is so obvious, with Cormier’s contempt for Jones and the perception that Jones takes his own talent for granted is front and center, while Jones’ disdain for Cormier’s contempt is either (a) more subtle or (b) boiling at the surface, and at some points in the interview apparent to all watching.
It’s a truly fascinating character study of both men, and it only serves to get us all the more excited for UFC 200 next Saturday night.
