Cody Rhodes announced on WWE Monday Night RAW that since his WrestleMania opponent, the current WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns would be on Smackdown this Friday live from Washington DC, Cody was headed there as well. This prompted WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley to track down our boss, Reigns’ wiseman and #SpecialCounsel Paul Heyman for comment.
Heyman warned Cody about showing up on Smackdown, equating Cody’s announcement to “storm(ing) the gates of the Island of Relevancy,” and made sure the table was set for this Friday. “Cody Rhodes will confront Roman Reigns,” Heyman exclaimed. “Or Cody Rhodes will be confronted by Roman Reigns!”
