An adaptation of the Stephen King story, horror movie “The Monkey” is headed your way in early 2025 from NEON, producer James Wan and director Osgood Perkins (Longlegs).
“The Monkey” is based on Stephen King‘s 1980 horror short story of the same name, which was included in Skeleton Crew, a 1985 collection that also featured The Mist, The Jaunt, The Raft, Survivor Type, The Reach and more.
Theo James (The White Lotus, The Gentlemen) plays the twin brothers, Hal and Bill, while Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth) portrays the younger versions of the twins. Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Invincible), Elijah Wood (Yellowjackets, The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Colin O’Brien (Wonka, Dear Edward), Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends, The Hardy Boys) and Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek) are also in the cast.
“The Monkey” will be released in theaters February 21, 2025.
