A24 has unveiled the trailer for its new erotic thriller “Babygirl,” which premiered in competition at the 81st Venice Film Festival on August 30.
“Being a CEO means being a collaborator – and nurturer,” Nicole Kidman’s character Romy opens the trailer. “Everyone is waiting for me to buckle under the pressure.”
The official synopsis describes the story of Kidman as a high-powered business executive who jeopardizes her career and family by engaging in a passionate affair with her much younger intern, Harris Dickinson, with the supporting cast including Antonio Banderas, Sophie Wilde, Esther McGregor, Victor Slezak, Vaughan Reilly and Leslie Silva.
Nicole Kidman earned the Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival for her role in the film.
“Babygirl” hits theaters nationwide on Christmas Day.
