WWE Smackdown emanated from Dallas, Texas, as Bloodline members Roman Reigns (Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion, along with his wiseman — our boss — soon to be WWE Hall of Fame inductee Paul Heyman), The Rock, Solo and Jimmy Uso came out to the ring anticipating the presence of Cody Rhodes (who will challenge Reigns for the title at WrestleMania 40) and World Champion Seth Freakin’ Rollins.
The challenge issued by The Rock last week on WWE Smackdown, a tag team match main eventing Night One of WrestleMania, with enormous implications on Reigns vs Rhodes for Night Two of WrestleMania, was answered. Rhodes and Rollins accepted the challenge, so that match is official. But that wasn’t the conclusion of the festivities. Harkening back to Las Vegas, where The Rock slapped Cody Rhodes, this night also ended in a most memorable slap.
