The song “I’m Doing Alright” was written by Lyda along with Paul Overstreet, while the video co-stars Brazilian Super Model Sasckya porto, and was directed by THE HEYMAN HUSTLE‘s Mitchell K. Stuart.
“Jacob has a filmmaker’s knowledge of country music videos and of all the great Westerns movies,” Mitchell told us, “It was a joy to work with someone who is not only a gifted musician, but could quote great camera moves and scenes from those classics as if they were hooks to a song.”
“There’s this one scene in the field where the lighting is just perfect,” Lyda added, “on my truck!”
The singer/songwriter continued, “So whenever I watch that scene, I don’t even look at me – I just think how good my truck looks!”
